John Farmer was born and raised in Richmond with strong ties to Charlottesville between family and UVa sports. He attended The University with a focus on sports medicine, marine biology, & UVa varsity swimming. His exposure to the Charlottesville market exceeds a decade and he has been with Montague, Miller & Co. since 2014. John’s experience in sales provides him with top-notch negotiation and follow-up skills, and his knowledge of the Charlottesville market, neighborhoods, and surrounding areas is a great match for incoming buyers and sellers. John enjoys biking, swimming, anything outdoors.

I am a huge advocate of rescuing animals whenever possible. I have a 15 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback (Trooper) & 4 year old Texas Blue Lacy (Liam) both from the CASPCA. Brothers from other mothers. |
Computer Science – I have been building computers and toying with software development since high school. |
Other than our easy access to the Blue Ridge Mountain trails… UVa Football & tailgating with friends/family. |
