Like many of you in Charlottesville, we are carefully monitoring the Coronavirus situation and making decisions to keep our team and our friends and clients safe.
For our team, we have enacted a stay home policy for all team members who feel ill or have traveled widely recently. Our office has increased their level of cleaning & sanitizing office space. And we are personally following recommended safety precautions from the CDC & Health Department which includes not shaking hands and practicing social distancing measures such as not driving clients to showings in our personal vehicles.
If you are selling your home and have significant concerns about exposure to the virus, please let us know we can limit or stop showings. If you are sick yourself, please let us know so we can pause showings & prevent spreading any illnesses during this time.
We recommend leaving hand sanitizer by the entrance & wiping down frequently touched items (kitchen counters, door knobs, etc.) after each showing.
If you are house hunting, some of the same ideas apply. If you are sick, please consider cancelling any showings you have scheduled so we can prevent spreading any illnesses during this time.
Please use hand sanitizer prior to and after visiting any homes. And please maintain safe practices such as avoid touching your face and social distancing no matter where you are.
Below is a letter from Montague Miller & Co that discusses some of the concerns and recommendations surrounding COVID-19. If you have any specific questions or concerns please do not hesitate to call or email.
