5 Local Businesses Every New Mom Should Know

In honor of Mother's Day & National Small Business Day, I wanted to share some of my favorite local businesses that I didn't know about before I had a baby.
1. One Fit Mother (onefitmothercville.com) I could spend hours telling you how much I love this amazing group of women. I get to workout, my kid gets to play, and it truly is a community of moms from all stages of motherhood supporting each other daily. Nervous about going to class without knowing anyone? Send me an e-mail, I'll be your buddy.
2. Green Bean Baby Boutique (greenbeanbabyboutique.com) An actual baby store with strollers, clothes, toys, & more. The staff is so knowledgeable & helpful and make shopping a great experience.
3. Women in Motion (womeninmotionpt.com) Every Mom should know about their offerings to help you through the aches & pains of pregnancy & motherhood.
4. Virginia Discovery Museum (vadm.org) How did I never realize how huge this place is? Full of so many things to explore, each visit is a new experience.
5. Stepping Stone (steppingstonecville.org) An amazing organization that provides basic necessities to kids from 0-3. I learned about them because they are one of the only places you can donate opened packs of diapers. Such a great resource for those who need it.
& I need to shout-out my team Rives, Kelly, & John for being so supportive & amazing. They never complain about my kid tearing the office apart or screeching during phone calls. I'm so lucky to have them.
